Members and guests are asked to assemble at 9am at the North Entrance (Nordeingang) on Paul-Löbe-Allee Street at the rear of the Reichstag to be checked through security. Please bring your passport for the purpose of verifying your identity.
Refreshments will be available before the meeting.
Jan Fullerton, Director General, National Library of Australia, the Chair of CDNL welcomes members and guests to the meeting and introduces the host of the meeting, Dr Elisabeth Niggemann, Director General, Die Deutsche Bibliothek
Dr Niggemann welcomes members and guests to the meeting and will outline the arrangements for the day and the evening. Dr. Niggemann then introduces German Parliamentarian Eckhardt Barthel, MdB, a representative of the SPD (Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands) who will welcome members to the Reichstag.
Members and observers are invited to introduce themselves to the meeting.
Additions to the agenda can be tabled at the meeting.

11.2 The ICABS draft agreement has emerged from the deliberations of the CDNL's IFLA Core Activities Review Committee chaired by Dr Chris Chia, Chief Executive, National Library Board of Singapore. A letter of 30 October 2002 from Ross Shimmon, Secretary General, IFLA to Dr Chia outlines the IFLA Board's response to the Committee's report and is attached for information.
